By accessing and using TestingFile (testingfile.com), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Sample File License & Permitted Use

All sample documents, files, and fixtures provided on TestingFile (including PDF, DOCX, TXT, RTF, and upcoming spreadsheet, image, video, and audio fixtures) are offered under a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license for:

• Software development, automated QA testing, local sandbox verification, and staging evaluations.
• Integration into automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Benchmarking file upload throughput, document conversion engines, and parser limits.
• Both non-commercial and commercial application development without attribution required.

3. Prohibited & Unacceptable Use

When using TestingFile, you agree that you will not:

• Launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or excessively scrape our servers in a manner that degrades service availability for other users.
• Package, mirror, and resell TestingFile’s downloadable library as a paid standalone commercial database or digital product.
• Misrepresent the sample files as authentic legal, medical, or governmental documents.

4. Intellectual Property

The TestingFile name, logo, site design, illustrations, frontend components, and code are the proprietary intellectual property of TestingFile and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade dress laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site and all downloadable files are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. TestingFile makes no warranty that the files will be error-free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event will TestingFile, its operators, or contributors be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for any special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of data resulting from the use or inability to use our files.

7. Modifications to Service & Terms

TestingFile reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any portion of the service or these Terms of Service at any time with or without notice.
